Donald Trump’s “historic” wave of pardons — freeing Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, Sidney Powell, John Eastman, Jeffrey Clark, and dozens more — isn’t about forgiveness. It’s about rewriting the record and erasing accountability for the greatest assault on American democracy since the Civil War.
By pardoning the architects of the 2020 election subversion and the mob that stormed the Capitol on January 6, he isn’t restoring justice — he’s burning the evidence and it must be stopped!
THE 2020 CONSPIRATORS WALK FREE
Rudy Giuliani — The mouthpiece of the lie that fueled the coup attempt.
Mark Meadows — The gatekeeper who let chaos through the Oval Office door.
Sidney Powell, John Eastman, Jeffrey Clark — The legal engineers of the “fake electors” and DOJ pressure schemes.
Christina Bobb, Kenneth Chesebro, Boris Epshteyn — The logistics team for the fraud that never was.
Every one of them helped attack democracy from within — and every one of them now walks free because their ringleader reclaimed the power to pardon himself by proxy.
CATCH AND RELEASE — THE INSURRECTIONISTS
Enrique Tarrio (Proud Boys) and Stewart Rhodes (Oath Keepers) — both convicted of seditious conspiracy, both pardoned, both re-arrested within months.
Other January 6 offenders freed under Trump’s “Reconciliation Clemency” have already been booked again on gun, assault, and riot charges like John Banuelos was arrested on Oct. 17, 2025 for aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault.
This isn’t justice. It’s political catch-and-release — and an open invitation to do it again. It must be corrected.
CORRUPTION CLEANSING — LOYALTY AS A GET-OUT-OF-JAIL CARD
George Santos, convicted of wire fraud and identity theft, walked free after a Trump commutation.
A handful of MAGA donors, ex-officials, and self-described “patriots” also made the list.
When corruption is rewarded and accountability erased, it’s not clemency — it’s collusion. What does that say about the USA?
WHITEWASHING HISTORY — BURYING EPSTEIN, REWRITING J6
Trump dropped these pardons just as scrutiny intensified over his administration’s suppression of Epstein files and connections to co-conspirators still under sealed investigation. He knows how to flood the news cycle — drown scandal with scandal.
The pardons aren’t about closing a chapter; they’re about hiding the rest of the book.
This is all focused on covering-up his crimes.
DERELICTION OF DUTY — THE PRESIDENT WHO CHOSE POWER OVER COUNTRY
This was never about “unity.” It was about impunity.
Trump understood his options after the 2020 election:
President or Prisoner
There was no in-between. He won power — and is using it to cleanse the crimes that should have defined his downfall.
By bypassing the law, ignoring the courts, and rewriting the moral record, he’s doing what authoritarians always do when history gets too close: they erase it.
THE COST OF CLEMENCY
These pardons mock the rule of law. They tell future insurrectionists, corrupt officials, and violent extremists: Do it for me, and I’ll make it disappear.
They teach a generation that truth can be pardoned if the liar wins. That democracy can be undone if the right man signs the paper.
And that’s the most dangerous lesson of all that we should take away from Trump’s presidency.

Trump may have escaped prison by winning the presidency, but America is the one now serving the sentence. It is up to reverse this and hold this criminal accountable, especially if the Judicial and Congressional branches refuse to “check” his power.
But that’s for the next essay.
So, Trump follows through with pardons he pretty much stated before the election that he’d grant if elected and you’re whining?
But Biden promises over and over that he’s not going to pardon his son, while every major media corp runs interference for him.
Then, just before falling out of office, Biden close s up shop issuing a slew of “preemptive pardons” for his own crooked crew, just in case they’re prosecuted for facilitating the invasion of America by criminal gangs and terrorists, along with millions of others who come in proving they don’t care about immigration law. And let’s throw in Fauci … just in case!
If it’s Blue it’s cool. If it’s Trump it’s treason?
BTW I’m Canadian and can’t stand the way Trump is waging economic war against a country with 10% of the US population. Canada is not a problem for the US anymore than California is.
Canadians have provided much needed help with every major disaster experienced by the US for years and this is how we’re repaid?
Carney is hopeless, but Trump is punishing the actual citizens of both countries.
Regardless, if I had to choose a hypocrite who publicly declares his country’s allegiance to Christ and traditional values over someone who celebrates sexual deviance and mutation on the WH front lawn an Easter Sunday?
